Meine Frau hat eine Freundin, die sie in Russland kennengelernt hat. Genau genommen in Berlin, wo sie sich, aus verschiedenen deutschen Städten kommend, über den Weg liefen, als sie auf den Flieger ins Riesenreich warteten.

Der Anlass der Reise nach Russland war natürlich das gemeinsame Slawistikstudium. Das Gerücht, sie seien vor allem wegen der russischen Männer gereist, die vermeintlich auf deutsche Frauen stünden, war völlig aus der Luft gegriffen und ein weiteres Beispiel der Diskriminierung von blonden Frauen.

Es war folglich reiner Zufall, dass die Freundin mit einem Russen nach Deutschland zurückkehrte, um ihn dort zu heiraten. Sie hatte allerdings nicht bedacht, dass in Russland völlig andere Trinksitten herrschen, die sich, wie sich zeigte, in einem neuen Beziehungs- und Kulturkontext zu einem ernstlichen Problem entwickelten.

Wie dem auch sei, die Scheidung war schließlich unausweichlich und die Freundin suchte sich einen neuen Mann, der ihr in Sachen Lebenserfahrung in nichts nachstand. Der Neue war auffällig gekleidet, denn sein Lederjanker mit verzierten Nähten stach in der modisch etwas eintönigen Männerwelt wohltuend hervor und stand ihm zudem ausnehmend gut.

Meine spätere Frau hatte in Russland auch zufällige
Bekanntschaften, konzentrierte sich dabei aber auf Männer vom anderen Ufer, was ihr unverbindlicher erschien, jedoch nicht weniger reizvoll (es war die sehr kurze Zeit des Riesenreiches, während derer so etwas wie Freizügigkeit möglich war!). Zu meinem Glück war sie noch bzw. wieder zu haben, als ich sie Jahre später kennenlernte und die Ehe der Reisebegleiterin mit ihrem Russen bereits in die Brüche ging. Und so kam es, dass ich über meine Frau nicht nur ihre Freundin, sondern, einige Jahre später, auch deren neuen Jankermann kennenlernte.

Da ich den Jankermann auf Anhieb gut leiden konnte und er den Umstand anerkennen musste, dass ich im Besitz einer hirschledernen Kniebundhose bin, hat sich eine neue, gemeinsame Freundschaft entwickelt zwischen den Blondinen, dem Jankermann und mir. Wir gehen manchmal zusammen weg, kochen gemeinsam, haben Freude aneinander und besprechen Dinge, die uns bewegen.

Aber ohne meine Frau hätte ich den Jankermann nicht kennengelernt – wie ich manche mir lieb gewonnene Menschen kennengelernt habe durch oder zusammen mit meiner Frau. Das empfinde ich als Glück. Glück in dem Sinne, einen Umstand zu schätzen, der überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich ist.

Wenn nun aber privates Glück zusammengeht mit beruflichen Ambitionen, dann scheint der Himmel auf Erden zu weilen. Und deshalb bitte ich euch Engelsgeigen mitzuhören, wenn ich euch auf einen Beitrag hinweise, der kürzlich im Deutschlandradio lief. Der Jankermann ist nämlich auch ein Jäger, und er hat gerne zugesagt, als ich vorschlug, über die Jagd einen Radiobeitrag zu machen.
